SwirlyMMS 0.3.7 – Aggiornamento
Nuova versione 0.3.7 per SwirlyMMS l’applicazione che ci consente di inviare e ricevere MMS con l’iphone. Sono stati fissati principalmente tre bug. Il primo riguardava problemi di caricamento per gli mms che contenevano soltanto testo. L’applicazione infatti crashava, adesso invece permette di riceverli correttamente. Il secondo riguarda l’impossibilità di ricevere più volte la stessa immagine. Se avete avuto di questi problemi, sappiate che adesso è tutto risolto, ed il terzo e ultimo miglioramento riguarda le impostazioni. Se vi è capitato di cambiare sim nel vostro iphone, ad esempio usando una tim e poi trovandovi a dover usare una vodafone, e quindi riscrivere la corretta configurazione per la ricezione degli mms con vodafone, vi sarete accorti che spesso l’applicazione non salvava questi dati e al successivo riutilizzo degli mms, vi riapparivano le impostazioni che usavate con la vecchia sim tim. SwirlyMMS si scarica aggiungendo questa repository http://swirlyspace.com/SwirlySpace.xml (fate attenzione a scrivere le due “S” in maiuscolo, altrimenti vi dirà uncategorized source) .

Engadget has posted a fairly comprehensive gallery of screenshots from the current 2.0 iPhone software beta. For the most part, many of the things they’ve found are already known to be in the software. They have found that the new calculator also includes more advanced features when rotated. The ability to search through contacts seems to be missing, although it may simply be added later.
Other things of note are:
- App Store doesn’t currently do anything
- Exchange only pushes over EDGE
- There’s a mystery button in the calendar that doesn’t do anything
- Wi-Fi networks can be ordered
- Multi-select in Mail

A hint of search capability on iPhone 2.0
We’re all excited for iPhone firmware 2.0, due in July. So are the guys at blarkKABOOM. So much so that they examined the video of the press event with a fine-tooth comb.They noticed what appears to be a small search icon in the iPhone’s Contacts application. The icon wasn’t in the video demo, so we have no idea how it could work, but it did appear in the screenshots.Half the fun of major software updates from Apple is finding the unadvertised features. We’re very eager to get started.
